We are looking for an HPC Cloud Engineer to help us to bring the platform to the next level.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable HPC Cloud Engineer experience.
- Solid experience in managing and optimizing HPC clusters using Slurm, including job policy configuration, resource management, and performance troubleshooting.
- Experience in managing and optimizing HPC clusters in the cloud using AWS ParallelCluster and / or AWS Batch, including job policy configuration, resource management, and performance optimization.
- Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform to automate deployment and management of cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with AWS services such as EKS, IAM, Cognito, EC2, Lambda, S3, SQS and/or MSK, among others.
- Experience in container management and orchestration using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, preferably in production environments.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using languages like Bash, Python, or similar.
- Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate development, testing, and deployment of applications.
- Experience in managing cloud databases, such as MongoDB Atlas, Amazon RDS or other managed database services.
- Experience with Linux operating system, Git and Git Flow.
- Experience with Jira for issue tracking, and Scrum/Kanban Agile methodologies.
- Experience in teamwork collaborating within cross-functional teams. Can-do attitude and entrepreneurial mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Nice to have experience in infrastructure migration to the cloud, especially with AWS Batch, including assessment of existing infrastructure, cloud architecture design, and migration execution.
- Nice to have a valuable track record of successful execution of technical projects from inception to implementation.
